The new season starts on the 22nd April, let us all hope the weather improves dramatically over the next weeks. 

There have been several new Team Managers & documentation for the smooth running of the comp will be sent out in the next few days as Distribution lists are finalised. 

The MVP 2023 Presentastion took plavce last Month with Marc Reid  of Craigielaw being presented with the Trophy after delays in receiving the Trophy & Dean Ballingall from Rowanbank being on holiday and busy with Tax year end. It was eventually presented by Gordon McSorley the League Secretary.

The Intercity Cup was played over Douglas Park in Glasgow. Unfortunately from an Edinburgh perspective the Glasgow side prevailed with Glasgow Golf Club beating Craigielaw 6.5 to 2.5. Obviously a disappointing result and the Cup returning to Glasgow after having been in Edinburgh for the last 3 years. Neither team had previously won this event so a new name on the trophy this year.  This was in fact the 3rd year running the Glasgow Golf Club had been in this fixture but had lost out previously to Duddingston. Congratulations to them. 

After a very successful year for Craigielaw it was just one step too far.
